Shane decided to enter the arena of professional photography 6 years ago after a varied and eclectic career that has seen him in and around fashion and communications for the last 12 years. Moving to Milan, he began by assisting at Super Studio, working for a diverse assortment of photographers of differing genres, the experience of which is evident in the versatility of his work today. His work is defined through a combination of styles drawing together fashion, portraiture, reportage and his love of film. Much of his editorial work is often infused with an unmistakably cinematic quality and storyboard narrative, which by turn can be timeless and contemplative, or possess a bold contemporary twist. Familiar to all the images though is a clear and distinctive perspective of character, personality, and atmosphere, apparent through his lighting, direction and personally executed post production. Shane's enthusiasm, passion and easy attitude have seen him quickly established, with publications including: Vogue Pele, Style, Maxim, Intown, Corriere della Sera, Victim and Faces. Shane is currently based in London.
